  • Dr.Mary Mills is a Greenwich based historian who has worked on the local industrial history of east and south east London since the 1980s. She has written a number of books, and articles about Greenwich industry, and about the gas industry.  She has taken a particular interest in communities under regeneration and change, once working for an agency monitoring this, and later as a local councillor.  Coming originally from Gravesend, the riverside has also been of particular interest.
