John McAleer adds links and reading list

If you look at the page you'll see John's suggestions for some preliminary listening and reading to get you into the mood for the talk.

The first book has major contributions from Dr McAleer and his two co contributors and some excellent illustrations. Quite expensive to buy but you may be able to dust off a Library copy. I have a copy you'd be welcome to borrow.

The last one by Nick Robbins is rivetting: quite anti capitalist, but a very engaging read. Again, you could borrow mine but probably not to expensive second hand on Amazon.
